Terms of use (beta)
Effective: October 28, 2026.
- What FilePlainly is. A free beta tool, run by Autry Capital Group LLC (a single-member limited liability company), that drafts payment reminders, dispute letters and scope-of-work letters from what you enter. You must be at least 18 to use FilePlainly.
- Not legal advice. FilePlainly is not a law firm, and nothing it produces is legal, tax or financial advice. Using it doesn't create a lawyer–client or any other professional relationship.
- You're responsible for what you send. Review, edit and confirm every letter before using it. Make sure it's accurate, fits your agreement and complies with the laws that apply to you. FilePlainly never sends letters for you.
- AI drafting. Dispute and scope-of-work letters are drafted and checked with AI. The check can miss problems or remove sentences you want. You decide what stays.
- Use it fairly. Don't use FilePlainly to harass, threaten, defraud or mislead anyone, or to break the law. Don't try to get around the usage limits or disrupt the service.
- Beta limits and availability. Usage is limited per day. The AI feature may pause when a monthly budget is reached. We can change, pause or end the beta at any time.
- No warranty. FilePlainly is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
- Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, Autry Capital Group LLC's total liability for any claim relating to FilePlainly is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. This doesn't limit liability for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any liability that can't be limited by law.
- Privacy. Our Privacy page explains what we keep and send.
- Changes. We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
